Texas Workforce Solutions–Vocational Rehabilitation Services (TWS-VRS) helps people with physical or mental disabilities prepare for, find, keep, and advance in employment. Services include career counseling, training, job placement, and assistive technology, with offices throughout Texas (including Houston).

Support with assistive devices/technology and workplace accommodations to improve success on the job.
Assessments & Job Readiness
Career assessments, resume help, interview preparation, and skills-building support to get job-ready.
Job Placement & Coaching
Assistance finding jobs, preparing applications, connecting with employers, and receiving on-the-job coaching.
Specialized Programs & Employer Support
Transition services for students and targeted supports (including visual disability services), plus resources for employers such as worksite assessments and disability education.

Eligibility:
Services are available to individuals with disabilities that constitute a barrier to employment. A counselor will determine eligibility based on individual needs and goals.
