our mission
from isolation to redemption
To provide a structured environment rooted and grounded in the Catholic Faith for Catholic and Christian men, ages 18-35, who are suffering from addiction.

Our Story

St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows (OLS) is a gentle patron for those who are still becoming who God is calling them to be—young people, students, novices, seminarians, and priests. His life reminds us that holiness is not reserved for the “already perfect,” but is born in ordinary days through prayer, humility, and trust in Jesus and in Our Lady’s sorrowful heart.
Our mission flows from that same hope. Many men who struggle with addiction know the weight of loneliness—feeling cut off from family, faith, and even from themselves. That is why our motto is “From Isolation to Redemption.” We believe no one is beyond the reach of mercy, and no wound is too deep for Christ to heal.
Jesus Himself tells the story of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one sheep that is lost. We hold close that image of Jesus finding the one black sheep—not to condemn it, but to lift it onto His shoulders and carry it home. At St. Gabriel OLS, we want every resident to know this: you are sought, you are loved, and you are not alone. Here, step by step, God can lead a life once marked by isolation into a new life shaped by redemption.
